Emma was born in June of 2010 a healthy baby girl! Her mom and dad were so blessed and happy to have such a wonderful, perfect baby girl! Little did they know, baby Emma would develop such a horrible, devastating disease....cancer.
Emma was diagnosed with trilateral retinoblastoma. She had tumors in both of her eyes as well as a spot in her brain that they thought could also be a tumor.
Emma began aggressive chemotherapy before she was even 5 months old.
During this time, Emma's mother, Katie, has been laid off from her position in the medical field. Katie has now become a single mom and has been struggling financially, but has continued to remain positive, hopeful, and strong for her baby girl.
Emma was in the hospital for a 30 day stay for intense chemotherapy sessions, MRIs, bloodwork, laser treatments, blood transfusions, and much more to try and eliminate the tumors and put her into remission.
Donations made will go straight to the needs of Emma and her family to help in their day to day needs. (Housing, food, gas, utilities, etc.)
